A SHARED STORY: WHEN HUSBANDS WORK, WORK, WORK

LINDA LEHTONEN

A Shared Story: When Husbands Work, Work, WorkMy hard working husband works 12 hour days with a 40 minute drive to and from! He is awesome. He usually gets home at 9 p.m. and "still cooks dinner." It relaxes him and he ENJOYS it tremendously....and he is a much better cook than anyone I know including "me"....LOL

So, what I try to do is all the things that have to be done when you own a home, pets and 2 cars. I do all the yard work when it is cool...early morning or late night. I water all our pots (a lot) and I wash the cars whenever they need it and take them for oil changes and so on. I do little projects that we need done, and, have learned how to do a lot of things I had never tried. It is fun. I even learned how to use a drill!

I guess you could say "It is my way of saying I LOVE YOU and THANK YOU" for all you do and for all you are to me. After 10 yrs being a widow and single, he brings joy into my life everyday now for the 8 yrs I have known him and the 7 we will be married in July.

I may not get time to "exercise" but I get my "exercise" while being a good partner to my husband.

So ladies, I am just saying....let him cook if he wants to and even do the dishes. But, help him out anyway YOU are able to do and say I LOVE YOU at the same time :)
