WALKS WITH A SLOUCH
QUESTION:
My husband is only 64 - yet when he walks, he's all slouched and bent over. It almost looks like his back is curving. Is it possible for some sort of exercise to correct this?

There are exercises to improve posture, but if there is a pronounced curve in his back, it would be wise to set up a bone density test with your primary care physician to rule out osteoporosis. Men do get it, too, but are far less apt to seek medical help. There also may be a heredity factor with one or both parents. That is why it is important to know our medical history. Karen McKenzie

I know there's no cure, as of yet. I've tried a couple of otc meds, but never seemed to help. Do you have any recommendations. (It's a steady tone, 24/7, does not keep me awake at night, in the right ear only, and I wear a hearing aid in that ear as well.) Thanks in advance.
