Karen McKenzie has been involved in fitness for seniors for 30 years and is one of the country's first health professionals to be certified by the Dallas Geriatric Research Institute for strength training, senior fitness testing, and programming. She holds a BS in Health Science as well as a Certificate in Gerontology.
Her pioneering strength training program has drawn national attention and has been featured on television, NPR Radio, and in medical and health publications. Her televised talk show, Seniors on the Move, features experts on aging. Karen is the founder of Senior Fitness Consultants, a comprehensive service that encompasses fitness, programming, education and motivation.
