MATCH.COM

THINGS WE LIKE:

Match.com is one of the biggest (if not THE biggest) online dating site for singles.  It reportedly has more than 20 million members.  We understand that it has a fairly even split of male-to-female members (49-51).  While it’s not a “free” site, the robust number of registered users would increase your likelihood for dating success. As a result of a lawsuit filed in 2011, Match.com may be screening new applicants against the national sex offender registry.

Cost info is readily available IF you register and signin.  Note that it is NOT necessary to give any financial information to simply view their pricing.  The site also offers some interesting articles. And, for those on-the-go, a paid subscription includes mobile access.

THINGS TO THINK ABOUT:

There's only just so far you can go with the free membership.  You really need to subscribe, if you're serious.  For example, the FREE membership doesn't allow you to contact others, or send & receive & respond to email messages, or see who's viewed you, or get mobile access for email purposes.  Yes, as a FREE member you can create a profile and post a photo, but why bother - if you can't really interact with others.  Isn't that the point?
