LOVE 'N LIFE: PLAYED FOR A FOOL?

“OH CAROL:”

I dated a woman for almost a year.  Her friends became my friends and we did a lot of the things she liked.  We agreed to separate, but now, after only one month apart, she and one of her male friends have become an item.  How could she rebound so quickly?  Things were pretty rocky with us toward the end and so I wonder if she and he had already started their relationship before ours ended.  Should I confront her? I’m feeling like she played me for a fool.
Played For A Fool?

LOVE 'N LIFE: Played For A Fool?LOVE ‘N LIFE’S “OH CAROL” ANSWERS:

Dear “Played:”

Have you heard the expression that goes something like, it's better to keep quiet and be thought a fool rather than speak up and prove it? NO you should NOT confront her. What's done is done. You can't undo it.

What would it do for you to know that she had started her relationship with him before the two of you split up? I will tell you: it would do nothing except maybe upset you or anger you even more. Three little words for you from my 4 favorite guys ,"Let it be."

Move on, take time to mourn the end of the relationship and then get back out there and meet someone who wants to stick around with you!

Yours 4 Love,
Carol
