LOVE 'N LIFE: FORTY AND COUNTING!

“OH CAROL:”

Our 40th wedding anniversary is coming up in two months.  We’re people of modest means but I’d like to do something special and memorable to celebrate.  Do you have any ideas of some way we could observe the day without breaking the bank?  Thank you.
Forty Years and Counting!

LOVE 'N LIFE: Forty and Counting!LOVE ‘N LIFE’S “OH CAROL” ANSWERS:

Dear Forty and Counting:

First, congrats to you both on this wonderful achievement.  Forty years!  Wow! We agree - this IS a time to do something special and memorable.  One thing you might consider is to ask your friends and family to send you copies of old photos they may have which would have meaning for you both and that date back to that era.  Then you can ask one of your tech-savvy friends or relatives to help you assemble the photos into a presentation.  You could also have a pot-luck dinner at your home and show the “presentation” as your primary entertainment.  And to you, our readers, what suggestions might YOU have?

Yours 4 love,

Carol and the Editors

dontgoover55 Well I don't see when this was written but, it would be fun to dress up as we all did 40 years ago and have a dinner party. Then maybe rent a convertable just for the 2 of you, of course I see a GTO 1972 and take a mini trip over night in it. Drive down memory lane.....
